Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Molly for her fantastic participation in the tennis coaching session. You listened really well and enjoyed learning about tennis.
Year 1 - A child in Year 1 has been chosen for making a beautiful poster in Geography. Well done for working creatively! 
Year 2 - Rosalee has been chosen for being a thoughtful, kind and caring member of our class. Kind people are our kinda people!
Year 3 - A child in Year 3 has been chosen for fantastic column subtraction.
Year 4 -
Charlie F has been chosen for always coming into school with a positive attitude and putting 100% effort into all he does.
Year 5 - Gracie has been chosen for always being ready and prepared for school by remembering her homework and equipment she needs each day.
Year 6 -
Sienna has been chosen for being an all round superstar. You are diligent, hard-working, respectful and a joy to teach. Well done for all that you contribute to out class and the wider school community. 


Headteacher Awards

Every week Mrs Kerr will present code of conduct certificates in our celebration assembly to children who have been caught being responsible, being respectful and being ready! 


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Sophie and Darcy (Yr5) for helping to organise and tidy the breakfast club activity boxes for everyone to use.

A child has been chosen for helping to tidy up the equipment at playtime. 


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Zak (Yr3) has been chosen for helping to organise the classroom and ensuring all the chairs have been pushed under the tables. 


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

All of Year 3 have been chosen for being ready and art this week and applying all their drawing knowledge into this week's lesson. 

Violet has been chosen for locking into learning this week and always showing she is ready in assemblies.

Rugby fun
We had a visit from Steve a coach at Worcester Warriors who worked with Y3, 4, 6 and 5 throughout the day on Thursday. Children learned teamwork in rugby and played fun games and practices to help them put this into practice through tag rugby. Well done to James, Sophie and three oth...

Reception had a fantastic time learning new tennis skills with Broseley TC coach Ian Gillespie in fun tennis games during their PE lesson.

Welly Wanderers Fun!
Children in Nursery have been learning about The Green Man this week, and enjoyed making some lovely crowns so that they too could be camouflaged in the wood, enabling them to look after their environment.  Fabulous fun!

Stamp making
This week Year 1 have been making stamps using card, string and sticks. They each chose a weather condition to represent in their stamps. We are looking forward to seeing you add some colour and print your stamps next week!

Dislikes: Ketchup, crocodiles and unfairness.

Favourite subject at school: I loved everything except PE!

Fun fact: Not a lot of people know I have a brown belt in judo and am quite good at ice skating!
