Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - A child in reception class has been chosen for trying so hard in phonics lessons.  They can recall all of the phonemes covered so far this term and are reading simple words in our guided reading. Well done!
Year 1 - Lewie has been chosen forhis excellent attitude to learning and trying his very best in writing lessons.  He is a wonderful role model.  Well done!
Year 2 - Phoebe has been chosen for putting 100% effort into English and Maths tasks, such focus.  Well done!
Year 3 - Frankie has been chosen for making a fantastic effort in English last week.  He has worked really hard when writing out the neat copy of your story. Well done!
Year 4 - A child in year 4 has been chosen for asking and answering fabulous questions at our 'Harvest Experience' in Church.  A good ambassador for our class. Well done!                                                                                                                     Eliza has also been chosen for her hard work and determination in every lesson.  She is a fantastic role model for her peers.  Well done!
Year 5 - James has been chosen for his imagnitive adjectives work in English.  Well done!
Year 6 - Flo has been chosen for always being a keen learner, trying her best, punching herself and trying hard to become independent.  Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Aiden (Reception) has been chosen for helping his friend with letters and sounds without being asked.  Well done!

Kaicee-Mae (Y6) has been chosen for helping a younger child when they were struggling.  Well done!

Two children in year 6 have also been chosen for sharing hockey sticks responsibly at break times.  Well done!


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

 

Isabelle (Y4) has been chosen for showing kindness to a friend to help them to feel included.  Well done!

Rosalee (Y4) has been spotted holding the door open for other people.  Well done!

A child in Year One has been nominated for using good manners.  Well done!


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Lucy (Y6) has been chosen for always being ready to help younger children in the dinner hall.  Well done!

Year 1 Writing

MacMillan Coffee Morning
Thank you so much to everyone who came to our Macmillan Coffee morning this morning. Year 6 were super hosts. When we have counted all the donations we will let you know how much has been raised. Thank you to everyone who baked and donated delicious treats to sell.

The High 5 Team were amazing again this week. The weather was not on their side but they didn't let it stop them and they secured another win. Thank you to all of the parents that supported them in the rain too.
