Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

 

Reception - Chester has been chosen for his fantastic number knowledge.  He has been counting and subitising very well!
Year 1 - A child in year one has been chosen for their gentle manner in class and for always trying their best with their learning. Well done!
Year 2 - A child in year two has been chosen for their fantastic story writing using adjectives.  Well done!
Year 3 - Henri has been chosen for his amazing effort in our art lesson. He listened carefully and mixed your colours to match the ones on your colour wheel.  Keep up the hard work!
Year 4 - Alice has been chosen for her outstanding pride and presentation in everything she does.  She impresses Mrs Boam every day with her hard work!
Year 5 - This child has been chosen for settling well into Year 5 and becoming more confident when speaking aloud.
Year 6 - James has been chosen for a being a superstar buddy to his peers; helping them in their work and giving them ideas to improve their writing.  Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Year 1 - Solomon has been chosen for helping a member of staff in an emergency, we couldn't have done it without you!

Year 4 - Imogen and Alice have been chosen for helping a child in reception class who had dropped their belongings.  Well Done!

Year 6 - Archie and Mason have been chosen for helping in the dinner hall.  Thank you!


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Year 1 - This child has been chosen for making supportive comments to another child.  Well done!

Year 5 - Jasmine has been chosen for putting away all of the skipping ropes that had been left put after break time. Thank you!


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Year 1 - Quinn has been chosen for being ready for music assembly - he was brilliant!

Year 3 - Robyn has been chosen for always listening in class.  Well done!

Place Value in Year 6
Year 6 have been working super hard this week on their place value! They worked in pairs to explore different resources in order to solve a problem. We then shared our answers and strategies as a class.

Year 1 have had a creative week! In R.E. we have been learning about Islam and started with the Islamic creation of nature story. Fitness for Year 6
The Year 6’s had lots of fun in their fitness lesson for P.E last week! They learnt about their personal level of stamina and what effect different excercises had on their body. Mr C got involved too!
