Year 2 - Bailey has been chosen for trying really hard and making progress in phonics this week.
Year 3 - This week a new member of our class has been chosen for settling in so well.
Year 4 - Annabel has shown consistent greatness in all she does. This week she has written a fantastic explanation text about mummification.
Year 5 - Elissa for her lovely creative ideas whilst using figurative language in her writing this week.
Year 6 - George has shown a much better attitude to his learning this week. He has shown determination, respect and excellent listening. Keep it up!

Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Eliza, Jacob and Rosalee (Y3) have been spotted untying all the skipping ropes at playtime so that everyone could enjoy playing with them.

Jessica (Y3) has been nominated by someone who visited our school and Jessica very kindly helped to gather her equipment when she was leaving.

George and Ryan (Y6) have been spotted in the dinner hall taking responsibility for ensuring it is clean and tidy when they leave.

Be Respectful

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Chloe (Y6) very kindly offered to help Mrs Thomas do a job in school and it really made her day.

Jacob (Y3) noticed when someone needed some support with their reading and decided to help them.

Henry (Y1) showed some super sharing skills when Year 1 litter picked in our forest school and grounds.

Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

A child in Year 1 has been chosen for being ready to share ideas and thoughts in R.E this week.

Layla (Y2) showed determination to succeed for our JWS team at the William Brookes School Partner Sports day and carried on running her race even though she tripped over.
