Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!
Reception - Harry has been chosen this week for coming up with a great way to stop Humpty Dumpty from breaking when he falls off the wall. You always have great ideas! Year 1 - A child in Year 1 has been chosen for trying really hard to be an 'Able Mabel' this week. Keep it up! Year 2 - George has been trying hard to add extra detail in his writing, using lots of expanded noun phrases. Well done. Year 3 - Isabelle has been chosen for being a fantastic role model to other children in class. She is always showing our ready, responsible and respectful behaviours. Year 4 - Sophie has been chosen for her fantastic presentation and pride in her work. Year 5 - Charlie F has been chosen for making amazing progress in his times tables. Year 6 - Frankie for always trying his best in everything he does, always with a big smile on this face.
Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.
Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.
Mikey (Y5) has shown excellent behaviour and sportsmanship at the athletics event this week and William Brookes School.
Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.
Harry and Solomon (YR) have been caught knocking so politely on the office door and waiting to be asked to come in.
Well done to the children who have been ready this week.
James, Ed (Y5) and Ollie (Y4) have been noticed this week in their P.E lessons for putting great effort into their gymnastic routine.
Take a look at what our children have been curious about this week in their learning!
The Reception class enjoyed looking at a collection of old toys from the Shrewsbury museum service today. The children investigated what the toys were made from and how they were played with. We then created a timeline to show how toys have changed over the years.
This week a group of Year 5 and 6 children took part in an indoor athletics competition. They all showed determination, teamwork and passion in their events. We were so proud of them all. The girls team came 5th overall and the boys team came 2nd!
