ISSUE 90

Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Phoebe has been chosen for her reasoning in a maths problem.  She thought through her ideas in a capacity problem and worked out a way to solve the problem.  Well done!
Year 1 - Teddy has been chosen for having such a happy smile and trying so hard in everything he does.  Well done!  Finley has also been chosen for his brilliant scientific work sorting animals into groups.  Well done!
Year 2 - Isabelle has been chosen for making a fabulous castle and for supporting other children. Well done!
Year 3 - Eileen has been chosen for her effort and focus on her fraction work.  She listens to the methods carefully and then applies them.  Well done!
Year 4 - Gamze has been chosen for always working super hard, asking good questions to help her learning improve, and presenting everything beautifully.  Well done!
Year 6 - Jake has been chosen for his participation in lessons, especially English.  We have really enjoyed your ideas for our comics.  Well done!  Bobby has been chosen for his much improved attitude towards his work this term.  He made some brilliant contributions during our Moving-Up Day.  Well done!

Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Milly (Y5) has been chosen for being really helpful during lunchtimes.  Well done!

Poppy (Y4) has been chosen for tidying up equipment that had been left out in the hall without being asked.  Well done!

Be Respectful

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Ed, Alfie, James and Otto (Y6) have been chosen for delivering a fantastic assembly to commemorate D-Day.  Well done!

Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Henry (Y2) has been chosen for being ready to tidy up equipment in the hall because he saw it had been left out.  Well done!
