Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Owen has been trying so hard in guided reading; he is concentrating really well.  Well done!
Year 1 - Ralph has been chosen for working super hard in writing this week adn for being a super listener in reading.  Well done!
Year 2 - Isabelle has been chosen for settling into Year 2 brilliantly, and for fantastic story writing.  Well done!
Year 3 - Jack has been chosen for having a great attitude towards his learning.  He works hard and is a great response partner too.  Well done!

Robyn has also been chosen for having a great attitude to learning.  She never gives up and always gives 100%.  Well done!
Year 4 - Elizabeth has been chosen for her effort, determination and positive approach to her work last week.  We are all very proud of her.  Well done!
Year 5 - A child in Year 5 has been chosen for always using polite manners when speaking to adults in class.  Well done!
Year 6 - Elissa has been chosen for showing a much improved participation in lessons and overall attitude to her learning.  It has been a delight to read her work and see the progress.  Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Maeve (Y6) and Sophie (Y6) helped another pupil when their water bottle leaked.  Well done!

Aiden (R) found someone's lunch box in the hall and returned it to their locker.  Well done!


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Jake (Y6) gave up his position on goal during football to ensure that another pupil had a turn.  Well done!

Jacob (Y4) shook the hands of players from other schools when they won at a recent sports event.  Well done!


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Eamon (Y6) has been on the ball and ready to learn in every lesson.  Well done!

Year 3 Simple Circuits
Year 3 have been applying their knowledge of simple circuits to test objects to see if they are electrical conductors.

Year 4 Broseley Dragon Art
Year 4 continues to be inspired by the Broseley dragon in art. For the last few weeks, they have focused on adding detail in lines and texture. They have created some fantastic dragons' eyes. Their next job is to make them out of clay!

Spider Webs in Reception Class
The Reception class have been finding out about spiders this week. They went to forest school and created their own giant web. They had great fun climbing through it!

Lots of fun was had this week at Parent and Toddler group. The children especially enjoyed getting outside to explore and play!

Oral Hygiene in Nursery

Curling Club
Every Tuesday breaktime children have been enjoying Curling Club. We have become experts and now love having friendly competitions every week. It's great fun! The children can now set the game up and even record the scores
