Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - The child chosen in Reception this week has been trying really hard in everything that they do. They joined the class recently and have made lots of friends already.
Year 1 - Adeline for working really hard in her maths this week and for her perseverance in all that she does.
Year 2 - Penny has been chosen for being kind, treating people with respect and trying her best in all she does.
Year 3 - Gabriel for brilliant resilience and determination to show his best in maths.
Year 4 - Isabelle for her hard work and determination in her assessments this week. 
Year 5 - Flo has been chosen for trying hard to improve on her spelling target words.
Year 6 - Delilah and Archie for their determination in swimming this week, you should be very proud of yourselves.


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Lilah (Y6), Lochlan and another child in Year 5 has been such great help in at lunch time, they have helped to tidy up in the hall and helped the adults over and above.

Eileen and another child in Year 2 has been caught making sure all the tables were tidying in their classroom, without being asked.


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Jacob S (Y3) has helped organise his group in P.E so that they could practise their cricket bowling skills.

In Year 3 we have been learning about forces and the effect of friction on a moving vehicle.

In Y5 we are learning about light in Science. We worked in pairs to make models to show how light travels and how we see objects around us.

This week Year 4 have really enjoyed learning how to play rounders. They worked hard as a team to play together and remember all the rules of the game!

Name: Beckie

Likes: Running, playing netball, taking our children to theme parks and creating memories.

Dislikes: Loud chewing in a restaurant and people walking slow.

Favourite subject at school: P.E and Maths.

Fun fact: Last month I was ID to buy non-alcoholic beer and then refused as I couldn't find my during licence!.
