Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - A child in Reception has been chosen for her super writing, she is really trying hard to hear sounds when she writes.
Year 1 - Jenson for his kind heart and for always trying his best to challenge himself.
Year 2 - A child in Year 2 has been chosen for brilliant progress in learning to tell the time, well done!
Year 3 - Gamze for amazing skipping during the workshop and for trying so hard to learn new skills.
Year 4 - Avalon for her hard work and determination this week. She is an 'improper fractions' whizz kid and Mrs Boam is super proud of her!
Year 5 - Sophie has been chosen for her calm and kind manner in class and for offering thoughtful ideas in class discussions.
Year 6 - Natasha for her continuous excellent attitude to learning. Whether it is portraying a character in drama or problem-solving in P.E, she always puts in 100% effort in everything.

Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

A child in Year 6 has been caught saving a poorly bee from the classroom and taking it outside to find a flower.

Bobby (Y5) has helped to make sure someone received first aid when they were injured in football.

Layla (Y2) made sure an adult knew about an injured hedgehog and heklped to make sure it was taken to safety.

Be Respectful

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Solomon (YR) has shown a sensitive manner to someone who has hurt themselves on the playground and helped them up.

Riley (Y2) was spotted helping a Year 1 child when they had dropped their lunch. Thank you for being so kind.

Henry V (Y2) has been noticed for having superb manners. It really makes adults smile.

Fraser (Y1) has been such a good friend to someone in reception and made sure they had a good play time.

Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Davin (Y4) has been settled in class and made good decisions all week.
