Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Jacob for trying very hard in maths lessons, You are quick to work out number problems!
Year 1 - Thomas has been chosen for fantastic writing this week using your helpful tool kit to spell tricky words.
Year 2 - Jack for fabulous handwriting in his English work. You really showed you were taking pride and care in your work. 
Year 3 - Henry has been chosen for a fantastic effort in his maths lessons this week. 
Year 4 - A child in Year 4 has been chosen for working really hard to achieve her personal targets, even if this brings her out of her comfort zone. Sophie has also been chosen for being really focused and determined in class. Her presentation is outstanding!
Year 5 - Charlie T for his mature and sensible attitude in class and for being willing to listen and respond to feedback about his work. 
Year 6 - Charlie and Riley have both been chosen for their superb bridge building in D.T that managed to hold up to 500g fo weight!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Jessica, Lilah, Chloe W and Kaicee-Mae (Y6/5) have been noticed for going out of their way to be as helpful as they can to the lunchtime staff and this has really stood out this week. 

Violet (Y2) for supporting a partner so well this week. 


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Henry V (Y2) for pointing out Mrs Beard's marvellous mistake in such a respectful manner!

Eileen (Y2) has been noticed for always listening carefully to others this week.


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Year 6 have all been chosen for showing us how ready they have prepared themselves to show their very best in SATS this week. We are all very proud of you. 

A child in Year 2  has been noticed for being really ready to learn all week!

Amazing Mosaics
In Art this half term Year 3 have been looking at the history of mosaics before focusing on colours and patterns found in Roman mosaics. We then designed and made our own mosaic tiles. We love all of your unique designs!
