Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Jack has been chosen for finding his 'big voice' and contributing really well in practice reading sessions.
Year 1 - Joyce for her amazing addition work this week. Such a star!
Year 2 - A child in Year 2 has been chosen for trying super hard to work independently.
Year 3 - Sienna has been chosen for fantastic effort during her P.E lessons this week.
Year 4 - James for huge improvements in mental calculations. This has helped him tackle some challenges independently.
Year 5 - The person chosen in Year 5 this week has a hard-working attitude in class and is always kind and friendly.
Year 6 - Charlie has been chosen for his hard work in Maths this week, eben when he found it challenging to begin with. Chloe G has also been chosen for her dedication to learning. Well done for not giving up on your column multiplication method!

Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Henry (Y1) noticed when another child was upset and comforted them.

A child in Year 3 has been making sure the courtyard door is kept closed so everyone stays warm in school.

Violet (Y2) has been caught helping another child struggling to put their coat on.

Be Respectful

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Jacob S and another child in Year 3 noticed that a member of staff had dropped lots of maths equipment on the floor and came over to help without being asked.

Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Robyn and another child in Year 2 chose to give up their play time to help to organise and tidy the laptop trolley, so it is ready to use all year groups. Thank you.
