Reception - Ralph has been chosen for fantastic progress with his reading. Ralph can sound out simple words quickly and is remembering some tricky words.
Year 1 - The whole class has been chosen for their beautiful production this week and for being lovely snowflakes. They made Miss Saunders so proud!
Year 2 - A child in Year 2 has been chosen for speaking so clearly and confidently in our Christmas show, well done!
Year 3 - Jacob S has been chosen for super improvement in his handwriting this week and another child has been chosen for using his sounds brilliantly during our English lessons.
Year 4 - Isla for her fantastic effort in writing and 'deepening the moment' superbly!
Year 5 - The whole of Year 5 has been chosen this week for their fantastic singing and cheerful smiles during the Christmas performance.
Year 6 - Bethany for listening carefully and working hard to complete the activities given. Bethany's work is always well presented too.

Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

George (Y6) has taken responsibility to support all year groups so well during the Santa Dash today. He took his role very seriously and ensured all the children were following the route and having fun!

Be Respectful

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Jake (Y3) is always so polite to adults in school and wishes them a pleasant day!

Another child in Year 4 was also spotted for showing respect to her team and others during the Multi Activity Afternoon at William Brookes.

Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Jess (Y1) has been ready to show how well she can remember her finger spaces in her writing all week, well done.
