ISSUE 38

Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Iris has been chosen this week for her fantastic acting in our nativity play. She has a big loud voice and remembers what to say!
Year 1 - Adeline for her kindness this week and for always trying her absolute best.
Year 2 - Riley has been working so hard today, well done.
Year 3 - Eliza has been chosen for working hard on her handwriting this week and for practising at home too.
Year 4 - Oliver for being a really helpful and caring friend when someone had lost their Christmas bauble.
Year 5 - Amelia has been chosen for her enthusiasm and cheerful spirit during our practices for the Christmas performance.
Year 6 - Darcy for listening carefully in class and being enthusiastic about her learning. Darcy's written work is always well-presented.

Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Hallie and Lexi (Yr5) for taking responsibility for everyone's safety by promptly alerting an adult when the gate was unlocked.

Be Respectful

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Zak (Yr4) for independently taking the time to thank adults for taking the school to the panto this week.

Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Sam (Yr4) for always being ready to show excellent manners  to adults and children. This has been spotted by lots of different adults around school this week.

Panto fun!
Thank you for everyone who has supported the whole school pantomime trip and the fabulous PTA for paying for the transport as well as heavily subsidising the tickets. We all had a great time and the children were a pleasure to take. Lots of happy memories to share.
