Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Lewie for having such a great attitude to everything we have done so far. He is always enthusiastic and so sensible.
Year 1 - Phoebe has been chosen this week for showing a good attitude to learning and being helpful in the classroom.
Year 2 - This week a child has been chosen for being a super role model, she is always ready, responsible and respectful.
Year 3 - A child has been chosen for settling in brilliantly to Year 3. 
Year 4 - A child in Year 4 has been chosen this week for settling in really well into the routines of a new class and a new school!
Year 5 - This week a new member of class has been chosen for settling well into school and for being  sensible member of the class.
Year 6 - Callum for showing resilience, listening carefully and working hard in maths.


Headteacher Awards

Every week Mrs Kerr will present code of conduct certificates in our celebration assembly to children who have been caught being responsible, being respectful and being ready! 


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Jess (Yr1) has been responsible by tidying outside, and being very helpful to the adults. 

George (Yr6) has shown responsibility by choosing to stay and help tidy the lunch tables. 

Isabelle (Yr4) has been caught helping a poorly friend. Thank you for being so responsible.


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Ed (Yr5) has been respectful by being very polite to adults in school.


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Robyn (Yr2) has been spotted being a super Able Mabel, always ready and able for learning. 

Welcome to our new Reception Class!

Our new Reception Class have settled into school so well! We have been really happy to see your smiling faces coming into school ready to learn.

Welly Wanderers
Children have enjoyed our Welly Wanderers sessions this week in Nursery. They explored the wood, played on the swing and loved their hot chocolate at story time!

Stone Age artist!
Year 3 have been learning about the Stone Age. We have looked at cave paintings and used charcoal and pastels to recreate our own Stone Age art!

Amazing molecules
In Year 5 we have been thinking about our knowledge of states of matter, including solids, liquids and gases. We learnt how molecules behave differently depending on their state and acted as molecules ourselves!

Name: Mrs Hughes - specialist music teacher.

Year Group: All year groups.

Likes: cats, coffee and everything about Japan.

Dislikes: Going to the dentist!

Favourite subject at school: Music of course, but I did like Maths too.

Fun fact: My cats Ginny and Mo are always visiting the school next door to me, and have made friends with the children there!
