Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Year 1 - Iris has been chosen for being really helpful in your new Year 1 classroom.
Year 2 -Simona for making a great start to Year 2.
Year 3 - A child has been chosen for fantastic snail drawing skills.
Year 4 - A child has been chosen for showing herself to be a caring, helpful and enthusiastic member of the class. 
Year 5 - Alfie has been chosen for making a great first impression by being polite and hardworking.
Year 6 - Dexter for solving the 56 challenge today!


Headteacher Awards

Every week Mrs Kerr will present code of conduct certificates in our celebration assembly to children who have been caught being responsible, being respectful and being ready!


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Thomas (Yr2) has been really kind playing with and supporting younger children on the playground.

Alfie (Yr4) has been spotted this week showing super learning behaviours.


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Harry, James, Miley and Zak (Yr3) worked so well together and supported each other and other teams in P.E this week.

Year 4 and 5 Cricket team who were gracious winners of the cricket tournament. 


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Kaicee-Mae and Amelia (Yr4) were chosen for an extra special effort our concert at The Birch.

Year 4 and 5 children who showed enthusiasm during the Commonwealth Games festival.

Seaside scenes
The Reception class have been working together to create seaside pictures. They researched what they might see on the beach or in the sea and thought about how to recreate these items using different materials.

Nursery news
The Nursery children have been thinking about life cycles, and in particular, butterflies. They've enjoyed all sorts of fun activities to support their learning (including some more of Jessie's lovely art work!), and had fun this afternoon making butterflies from bricks and their own bodies...

Singing superstars!

Likes: Reading, music, walking the dog and dolphins.

Fun fact: I have danced with my husband in the famous tower ballroom in Blackpool!
