Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Joyce has been chosen this week for always being kind and considerate to her friends. She looks after others and really cares about the feelings of others. 
Year 1 - Eileen has been chosen this week for trying really hard in her maths and for doing everything with a smile on her face. 
Year 2 - Year 2 have chosen someone for showing lots of 'using what she knows' in maths. 
Year 3 - Grace has been chosen this week for her super effort during our maths lessons this week. 
Year 4 -
Lottie and Lucy have been chosen in Year 4 this week for showing fantastic perseverance during the clubs link day. They both showed a 'can do' attitude.
Year 5 - George has been chosen this week for showing good knowledge, skills and enthusiasm in our soup making project. 
Year 6 - Year 6 have chosen Ed this week for showing great focus and determination. He has made exceptional progress in answering complex questions about a range of texts.


Headteacher Awards

Every week Mrs Kerr will present code of conduct certificates in our celebration assembly to children who have been caught being responsible, being respectful and being ready! 


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Bobby, Jacob N and Charlie F (Yr 4) for organising a litter pick of our school grounds at playtime. 

A child in Year 1 has been chosen for always helping to tidy the tables in our classroom.


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Gamze (Yr 2) for always being respectful to all the adults in school.

Imogen (Yr 2) for giving the adults in school a thoughtful greeting every morning. 


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Fraser (Yr R) is always ready to learn is very keen to do our daily phonics sessions. 

Jools (Yr 3) for showing resilience during the club link day and being ready to try new challenges.

This week Year 2 have been finding out whether bigger seeds will germinate more quickly. We have got wait and see what happens!

Receptions garden
The Reception class have been looking after their outdoor growing area. We have planted a range of flowers this week and have been thinking about what plants need to help them to grow. The children are also enjoying playing in the role play garden centre in the classroom.

Year 3 have been learning about light. We drew around our shadows in the morning and then compared their position the afternoon.

Year Group: Year 6

Likes: long walks through the countryside with my family and dog. A nice piece of chocolate cake.

Dislikes: Mice (when surprised by them).

Favourite subject at school: Maths

Fun fact: She enjoys climbing through the trees but can no longer land on her feet at the end of the zip lines!  Ouch!
