Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Eloise has been chosen this week for her fantastic writing. She is thinking about what to write and is applying her letters and sounds to spell simple words.
Year 1 - Aleyah has been chosen this week for doing some brilliant subitising in maths.
Year 2 - This week Bella has been chosen for a brilliant 'have-a-go' attitude to her learning.
Year 3 - Harry has been chosen this week for super progress with his reading.
Year 4 - This week Mason has been chosen for amazing work learning his times tables. In eight tests he didn't get any questions wrong! Well done. 
Year 5 - Delilah has been chosen for listening and contributing well to class discussions and taking advice on board for how to improve her work. 
Year 6 - Millie has been chosen this week for volunteering to represent the school at the girls' football competition so that it could go ahead. Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week Mrs Kerr will present code of conduct certificates in our celebration assembly to children who have been caught being responsible, being respectful and being ready! 


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Jacob, Mason, Flo Amelia and another child in Yr4 for deciding to undertake a litter pick at breaktimes to tidy up our outdoor environment.

Thomas (Yr 1) for being an excellent litter picker on the playground!

Darcie (Yr 3) for choosing to go on a litter pick at play times. 


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

To all our girls for using their manners and excellent attitude with our visiting football coaches. They commented on how respectful you were. 

Jenson (YrR) for always saying thank you to the adults in breakfast club.

Fabulous Fruit
This week, the Reception class have been looking closely at fruit and vegetables. We used magnifying glasses to see if they had any seeds. The children then thought about words to describe the smell and the texture of the food.
