ISSUE 11 

Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - The child chosen in this class has been making brilliant progress in her reading, sounding out lots of new words and feeling very proud of herself.
Year 1 - Jacob has been chosen this week for trying really hard in his hot writing task, even including some alliteration!
Year 2 - Quinn has been making thoughtful contributions in our PSHE lessons this week on tolerance. 
Year 3 - Eva has been chosen this week for doing fantastic maths work and doing really well working independently. 
Year 4 - Lexi has been chosen for outstanding work in maths and showing great perseverance. Well done for getting 20/20 in both times tables tests. 
Year 6 - Isabelle has been chosen for being wonderfully supportive. She is a great role model and always shows a willingness to treat everyone equally.

Year 2 news
Year 2 have been learning all about different ways to communicate as part of our tolerance week. We have learnt to write our names in braille and sign some British Sign Language.

Tile Printing
Year 3 have been learning how to tile print. We used our sketches of ammonites to create motifs. We then turned the motifs into tile prints.

Dance Festival Tie-Dye
Dance club have been working really hard this term on our performance for the Primary Dance Festival at William Brookes next week. We had lots of fun making our own tie-dye t-shirts for the show and everyone enjoyed finally seeing the end result. We can't wait to show you our dance!
