Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Celebration Children from last week:

Peridot - Eli has been chosen for his super listening on the carpet and respectful behaviour. Well done!

Emerald - Yusuf has been chosen for trying really hard with his handwriting. Well done!

Sapphire - Joyce has been chosen for her fantastic effort in writing - with some super ideas to make her writing sparkle! Well done!

Amethyst - Archie has been chosen for working hard in class and responding well to feedback and advice about his work. Well done!


Diamond - Thomas has been chosen for always being friendly and smiling. Well done!


Ruby - Henry has been chosen for his excellent participation in lessons. It's always lovely to hear his contributions - especially in writing. Well done!

Emerald - Aiden has been chosen for always offering to help out with jobs in the classroom. Well done!

Sapphire - Alfie has been chosen for being super resilient this week and working really hard. Well done!

Amethyst - Thomas has been chosen for working hard in maths lessons to show his understanding of times tables. Well done!


Diamond - Joshua has been chosen for always working hard. Well done!

Ruby - Poppy has been chosen for always doing the right thing and going above and beyond in everything she does. Well done!

Laura has also been chosen for her improved effort and participation in class. Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Posie (Y1) has been nominated for being responsible and telling a grown-up about a big spillage, as she did not want anyone to get hurt. Well done!

Brinley (Y5) has been nominated for handing a sharp item to a member of staff to prevent anyone from being hurt. Well done!


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Leo (R) has been nominated for always using beautiful manners. Well done!

Ellis (R) has been nominated for always saying good morning with lovely smile. Well done!


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Arabelle (Y1) has been nominated for always listening, following instructions and being very respectful. Well done!

Albie (Y2) has been nominated for always offering to help in Breakfast Club. Well done!

Owl Pelletts in Amethyst and Sapphire
Children in Amethysts and Sapphires investigated Owl Pellets as part of their science work on digestive systems and animal bones. We found some amazing things and were able to classify the bones and identify what the different owls had been eating. Pretty amazing stuff!
