Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Perdiot - Ellis has been chosen for his cheerfulness in all that he does and his fantastic effort in his number work this week. Well done!

Emerald - Cali has been chosen for having outstanding homework every week. Well done!

Sapphire - Milo has been chosen for his enthusiasm and excellent team work in science this week. Well done!

Amethyst – This child has been chosen for always giving good effort in their homework. Well done

Diamond - Riley has been chosen for always giving good effort in her homework. Well done!

Ruby - Brinley has been chosen for his improved attitude to his learning and participation in lessons. Well done!


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Jacob and Quinn (Y6) have been nominated for setting a brilliant example to a younger pupil at the end of breaktime. Well done!

Jude (Y1) has been nominated for helping to tidy up the classroom without being asked. Well done!


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Henry (Y4) has been nominated for using beautiful manners. Well done!

Arthur (Y2) has been nominated for listening so brilliantly during PE lessons with Miss Slarke. Well done!


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Emerald Class have been nominated for always being ready for their art lessons. Well done!

Skipping Workshop
Children throughout Nursery and School enjoyed a fantastic skipping workshop on Friday. The sessions were a huge success with everyone really enjoying themselves.

Sports News

A huge well done to our Year 5 and 6 pupils who participated in the High 5 League at William Brookes School. They represented John Wilkinson Primary School impeccably and performed really well!
