Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Jude has been chosen for his ability to keep on going when things have been challenging. He has such a positive attitude and a happy personality. We are really proud of everything he has achieved this term. Well done!
Year 1 - All of Year One have been chosen this week for their amazing writing progress this Spring term. Each and every child has worked hard to improve on their individual targets, and Mrs Otto is really proud of them all!
Year 2 - Theo has been chosen for always trying his best with his work and for having beautiful manners. Well done!
Year 3 - Isabelle has been chosen for her amazing attitude to all of her learning. Well done!
Year 4 - Evelyn has been chosen for working hard in maths to show her working and set it out neatly. Well done!
Year 5 - A child in Year 5 has been chosen for their percentage work. They discussed their method and were willing to share their ideas with the class. Well done!
Year 6 - Lorelei and Zak have been chosen this week for their much-improved participation in lessons. Mrs Thomas-Gilbert has enjoyed hearing your ideas and thoughts. Well done!

Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Light and Shadow in Year 4

Y4 have been investigating light and shadows. We used different materials to make shadow puppets and performed in our own shadow puppet theatre!

Year 6 Bikeability

Last week the Year 6’s made us all very proud with their hard work, resilience and incredible behaviour. They have all achieved a certificate for their Bikeability training and had the chance to make and try Hamantaschen in D.T/R.E; which is a traditional Jewish cookie.

Reception Class - Animal Safari

The Reception class have started their new topic this week, 'Animal Safari'. We began by looking at small creatures and went on a mini-beast hunt. The children found quite a few different mini-beasts at forest school.
