Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Noah has been chosen for trying very hard with his letters and sounds and putting in a lot of effort into guided reading.  Well done!
Year 1 - Arthur has been chosen for always having fabulous, interesting things to say in our topic lessons and for being such an enthusiastic member of Year One. He really is a superstar! Well done!
Year 2 - Otis has been chosen for his fantastic descriptive writing and using interesting, adventurous vocabulary to describe a troll.  Well done!
Year 3 - Molly has been chosen for her fantastic discussion skills, deep thinking and enthusiasm in R.E. Well done!  

Another child in Year 3 has been chosen for their fantastic effort, independence and perseverance in assessments this week.  Their hard work has paid off! Well done!

Brady has also been chosen for having a really positive week of learning.  Well done!
Year 4 - Henri has been chosen for working hard in class to understand division with remainders. Well done!
Year 5 - Elizabeth has been chosen for her answers in guided reading this week.  She has started to use the text evidence within her answers. Well done!
Year 6 - All of Year 6 have been chosen this week for their amazing effort in their SATS practices this week.  They have been adaptable, shown perseverance and worked really hard.  Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Evelyn (Y4) has been chosen for talking about this week's picture news and spotting the need to uodate the hall board. Well done!

World Frog Day
To celebrate World Frog Day, Year 1 have been learning about the life cycle of frogs. We then headed out to the school pond to talk about the type of habitats that frogs choose to live in, as well as doing a quick pond dip to see what we have living in the pond.

Vehicle Building in Year 2
Year 2 have started to create their own vehicles. They worked carefully from their design making a chassis, adding axles and wheels and securing the wheels in place. They worked really independently and used lots of problem-solving skills.

Shadows in Year 3
In Year 3, we have been noticing how shadows change the further away they move from the light source. We worked in super-scientists teams and all had different roles!

Toddler Group
Our Parent and Toddler group has been busy and enjoying the nicer weather over the last few weeks with various activities, both inside and outside. Sessions run every Wednesday between 9.05 and 10.30am during term time. Come along and join the fun!
