Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Jack has been chosen for his amazing writing.  He listened for sounds in words and had a good go at writing his news.  Well done!
Year 1 - Arthur has been chosen for the amazing progress he is making in his reading, and for his super kind manners in school.  Well done!
Year 2 - Beau has been chosen for his super effort and concentration during writing activities.  Well done!
Year 3 - Toby has been chosen for working really hard on his assessments and trying his absolute best.  Well done!
Year 4 - Bobby has been chosen for having a great start to the day and being ready to learn in class. Well done!
Year 5 - Sienna has been chosen for going above and beyond with her times tables and reading each night.  Well done!
Year 6 - All of Year 6 have been chosen this week for their incredible attitude towards their first practice SATS assessments last week.  Mrs Thomas-Gilbert and Mrs Bigwood are so very proud of their hard work, resilience and 'can-do' mindset.  Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.


 Be Responsible

Brady (Y3) has been choen for helping a member of staff with a problem. Well done!

Owen and Davin (Y6) have been chosen for creating an amazing PowerPoint presentation on their new history unit.  Well done!


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

The Football Teams from last week's tournament have been chosen for showing respect to all of our visitors and representing the school exceptionally.  Well done!


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Miley (Y6) has been chosen for demonstrating that she is always ready to listen and learn.  Well done!

Programmes are available from Simon Gibbons Butchers, Evermore, Downes, Mikey's, and Handlays Soft Furnishings at a cost of £1 and contains a running order for the day's events, together with a competition to win a £25 Sweet Hamper!
