Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - A child in Reception has been chosen for her beautiful drawings! They always try their best and add lots of detail.  The presentation of their work is lovely.  Well done!
Year 1 - A child in Year 1 has been chosen for their super progress in handwriting and for being such a smiley member of Year 1.  Well done!
Year 2 - Harry has been chosen for his fantastic writing in English, especially with the use of vocabulary.  Well done!
Year 3 - Joyce has been chosen for being a star pupil!  She shares ideas, tries her best and explains her learning really well.  Well done!
Year 4 - Penelope has been chosen for working co-operatively and accurately in Science when measuring and recording jumping distances.  Well done!
Year 5 - Eliza has been chosen for being a fabulous member of class.  She persists with her learning and thinks carefully about how to complete tasks.  Well done!

Poppy has also been chosen for being an amazing role model in the class.  She is always ready and gives 100% to everything she tries.  Well done!


Year 6 - Ruby has been chosen for her dedication when making our quest doors and her willingness to help others.  She is a true superstar.  Well done!

Oscar has also been chosen for writing a wonderful Arthog thank-you letter.  It was clear that he took his time and put a lot of effort into it.  Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Brady (Y3) has been chosen for being safe and responsible when informing an adult of a problem.  Well done!

Henry (Y3) has tidied up the play equipment and helped adults at breaktime.  Well done!

Year 3 and 4 Visit to Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre
Year 3 and Year 4 recently visited Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. We had a great time learning about life in the Stone Age. Thank you to everyone who helped us.

Reception and Year One - Music
Reception and Year 1 are enjoying our Friday music lessons! We are learning to find the pulse of a song and this week we learnt how to play along with the melody, using a simple scale - C, D, E, F, G. It sounded beautiful!
