Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Year 1 - Finley has been chosen for being brave and starting the new term with a smile.  He is also making super progress with his multiplication this week!  Well done!
Year 2 - Grace has been chosen for a fantastic piece of writing about a character description and for super concentration during lessons. Well done!
Year 3 - Evelyn has been chosen for having a positive attitude to sharing ideas with her partner as well as the whole class.  Well done!

Jacob has also been chosen for having a great attitude to practicing his times tables.  Well done!
Year 4 - Henry has been chosen for the massive improvement in his learning behaviours during lesson input.  Well done!
Year 5 - Annabel has been chosen for always being kind and polite in school, and showing enthusiasm for her learning.  Well done!
Year 6 - Finley has been chosen for making an excellent effort in his written work, which was beautifully presented, with fabulous handwriting.  Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

A child in Year 4 has been chosen for making good choices when dealing with a Health and Safety issue.  Well done!


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Jools (Y5) has been chosen for always greeting adults cheerfully and using lovely manners when ordering breakfast.  Well done!


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Theo (Y1) has been chosen for being ready to learn 100% of the time.  Well done!

Bobby (Y3) has been chosen for coming back to school with a great attitude to being ready to learn.  Well done!

Year 5 Wartime Posters
Y5 have had a great week learning about Wartime posters. We designed our own persuasive posters encouraging people to join in with the war effort.

Year One Portraiture
Year one are learning about portraiture in Art this term. This week we have been learning about different artists who paint self-portraits and we have used mirrors and sketching techniques to draw our own self portraits. Here are some examples of our fantastic work!

Vegetable Patch Donations
Now that the vegetable patch has been dug over and tidied up, we are looking forward to getting some planting done . The children are hoping to plant vegetables, fruit, and some flowers to keep the bees and other insects happy. We have sown some seeds last half-term, and they are growing well...
