ISSUE 81

Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Arthur has been chosen for trying really hard in 'letters and sounds'.  He is trying to spell some tricky words all by himself.  His handwriting is improving too!  Well done!
Year 1 - Harry has been chosen for his excellent behaviour and support to unfamiliar adults in the classroom.  Well done!
Year 2 - Thomas has been chosen for his excellent maths work in calculating money problems.  Well done!
Year 3 - Frankie has been chosen for embracing our visitor with open arms and getting stuck in to learning all about Hindu culture and traditions.  Well done!
Year 4 - Isabelle has been chosen because her knowledge and enthusiasm to 'know more' is always impressive.  She is a delight to have in class.  Well done!
Year 5 - Isabelle has been chosen for growing more confident with written multiplication and trying really hard in class. Well done!
Year 6 - All of Year 6 have been chosen this week for their brilliant hard work writing their non-chronological reports on Arctic/Antarctic animals.  They are all absolutely wonderful and we have loved reading them.  They should all be proud of themselves.  Well done!

Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Be Respectful

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Bobby (Y6) has been chosen for always asking permission to borrow a chair from a classroom for assembly.  Well done!

Dylan (Y2) has been spotted holding a door open for an adult who had their hands full.  Well done!

Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

World Book Day - Friday 8th March 2024
We are encouraging everyone to dress up on Friday (8th March) for World Book Day. We would encourage all of the children to think about a character they would like to be, and then come in clothes that reflect their choice. Officially World Book Day is on Thursday 7th March, but due to a lot of...
