Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Rickie has been chosen for his fantastic reading in today's guided reading session.  He knew all of the phonemes and was able to 'sound out' unfamiliar words.  Well done!
Year 1 - Harry has been chosen for his amazing knowledge and contributions in science this week and for always being a helping hand.  Well done!
Year 2 - Toby has been chosen for his excellent addition work in maths.  Well done!
Year 3 - Riley has been chosen for working hard and using our school values to be an awesome member of the class.  Well done!
Year 4 - Rowan has been chosen for his fantastic concentration in English.  He has much improved his handwriting and sentence construction.  Well done!
Year 5 - Sam has been chosen for being a great role model in class by always being ready to learn.  Well done!
Year 6 - Theo has been chosen for settling into our class family so well and being such a lovely pupil and friend to all.  A super role model, well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Toby (Y2) has been chosen for going above and beyond to ensure hat the Breakfast Club things are tidy without being asked.  Well done!


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Annabel (Y5) has helped to find a part of lost property for another child.  Well done!


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Isabella-Rose (Y3) has worked really hard to learn all of the number facts within 10.  Well done!

Y6 Website Design
Year 6 had a lovely first day of the spring term and made a fantastic start on their websites. In pairs, pupils had to explore PowerPoint and work out how to copy and paste images to form interesting backgrounds. Next lesson we will learn how to hyperlink different slides and add videos...

Likes: any kind of sport, listening to music and having fun

Favourite subject at school: I love to learn about people, so any Humanities

Fun fact: I play bowls and played in 3 finals last year (winning 2)
