Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Reception - Mia has been chosen for trying hard in guided reading.  She is sounding out words and is beginning to read some 'tricky' words independently.  Well done!
Year 1 - A child in Year One has been chosen for making excellent progress in their writing and for taking their time in their work - especially drawings this week.  Well done!
Year 2 - Skye has been chosen for making super progress with her reading and using lovely expressions.  Well done!
Year 3 - Bobby has been chosen for remembering lots of facts from our history work on Vikings.  Well done!
Year 4 - Jacob has been chosen for writing a fantastic Norse Myth in English this week.  Jacob used fronted adverbials, time connectives and speech correctly.  Well done!
Year 5 - Zak has been chosen for being a super role model, always ready to learn and always doing the right thing.  Well done!
Year 6 - Jack has been chosen for his participation in lessons.  He is always ready to have a go and share his ideas.  Well done!

Another child in Year 6 has also been chosen for being an all-round superstar pupil!  Always listening, working hard, helping others and being a true role model of our whole school values.  Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Alfie (Y1) has been chosen for being such a kind friend to his peers in class.  Well done!

Phoebe (Y2) has been chosen for kindly clearing some litter from the playground.  Well done!

Eileen (Y3) has been chosen for being responsible enough to take on an extra part in the Christmas Performance at short notice, and with prompting.  Well done!

Brinley (Y3) has been chosen for showing true bravery and responsibility when he was injured this week. Well done!


Be Respectful 

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Imogen (Y4) has been chosen for using beautiful manners and thanking staff after every Christmas Performance rehearsal.  Well done!


Be Ready

Well done to the children who have been ready this week.

Eliza (Y4) has been chosen for being a good friend and putting someone else's feelings first when they were scared. Well done!

Isabelle (Y5) and Owen (Y5) have been chosen for being ready to learn extra lines for the Christmas Performance. Well done!
