    This week in P.E KS2 children have taken part in a Santa Dash. They ran three laps of the field, looking very Christmassy in their Santa hats as they went by. KS1 children enjoyed multi-skills games and competitions together.

    Mr Jew and Miss Beamond have selected two children from every year group as the P.E performers of this half term. These children have been chosen for demonstrating our school values within P.E lessons and making excellent progress. Well done.

  • Urban Biathlon

    This week some Year 5 and 6 children participated in their first Biathlon. They ran in an exciting yet messy mud run and then swam 100m. We were so impressed with their stamina and fantastic sportsmanship. Well done! Here are some action shots...

  • This Week in P.E

    In P.E this week KS1 children did yoga sessions that tested their flexibility and balancing skills.

    KS2 children took part in fitness sessions which used all muscles in the body and tested their level of fitness. Exercises included lunges, running, star jumps, core moves.

    This week Georgia has started a girls football club at lunch time. We were very impressed with the number of girls who attended and enjoyed learning new skills.

  • This Week in P.E

    This week in PE Year 6 learnt how to perform line dancing and country dancing. They then performed a whole group dance to 5, 6, 7, 8 and Cotton Eye Joe. 

    Year 3, 4 and 5 all looked at different traditional dances around the UK. The children learnt about Morris dancing, Irish dancing and Highland dancing as well as which country in the UK each of the dances is a tradition from.

    KS1 have been performing dances from around the world including the Samba from Brazil, cha cha from Cuba, Zumba from Colombia and waltz from Germany.
