The children loved it and were very good at it too!  Children in Key Stage 2 will be having a lesson too.  We are hoping that our new archery set will prove very popular with the children.  Huge thanks to Mel for taking the time to help us get started.

  • Girls' Football Tournament

    Published 19/02/24

A small number of our girls headed off to represent the school at Bridgnorth just before Half Term. They were fantastic and worked together well. In the heat stage they won every match and made their way to the quarter finals.

It was a nail-biting match. The score was 1-1 at the end of the 6 minutes. 2 extra minutes were played and it was still 1-1 and so it went to penalty shoot out.

The girls put up an amazing show and our goalkeeper stayed calm in the face of pressure. Unfortunately, we were knocked out at this point. It was 1-1 on penalties with the final shot to be taken by the other school. They successfully scored and went through to the semi finals.

Well done to everyone. I know Miss Williams and I were totally pulled into the drama of the football and can't wait to see the girls play again.
