The Reception class enjoyed a lovely sunny afternoon at the mini forest school site today.
Year 1 have been doing D&T this week and we have been learning how to chop, slice and grate food in order to make a tasty sandwich for Paddington Bear!
Year 2 have been busy making moving pictures for the new Year1 class. We've learned lots about levers and linkages, sliders, pivots and other mechanisms.
Yesterday, Year 4 had a visitor. Jen, from Jackfield Tile Museum, helped the children bring their Islamic art designs to life, by creating them on tiles. We can't wait to see how wonderful the colours shine once they have been in the kiln.
Y2 have been busy coding quizzes using Scratch Jn. Fantastic determination and great teamwork everybody!
Year 1 have been learning about poetry this week. We really enjoy listening to poems in class! We learnt the poem 'Where teacher's keep their pets' together and practiced performing it to our class.
