    In Science Year 3 have been learning about the components of soil. When we mixed water with soil it split into different layers. We could then identify what type of soil it was.

    In Geography this week Year 6 have been exploring Polar day and Polar night. In groups we demonstrated the rotation of the earth in relation to the position of the sun to see why it happens

  • The Queen's Hat

    Year 1 have been spending their literacy sessions this half term learning the story of the Queen’s Hat by Steve Antony. Today we finished writing our own versions of the story about how the hat went missing. The children have worked so hard making their story books and illustrating them. Well done super stars!

  • A visit from Shrewsbury Museum

    The Reception class enjoyed looking at a collection of old toys from the Shrewsbury museum service today. The children investigated what the toys were made from and how they were played with. We then created a timeline to show how toys have changed over the years.
